MAIN MISSION:
As Deputy Maintenance Manager, you actively contribute to the operational management of the maintenance team, ensuring the availability, reliability, and safety of production equipment in a demanding food industry environment. You assist the maintenance manager in daily tasks and take over in their absence.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance interventions on production facilities
- Manage and provide technical support to a team of maintenance technicians.
- Diagnose breakdowns and ensure repairs are carried out promptly to minimize production downtime.
- Participate in maintenance planning using SAP PM.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of facilities (OEE, reliability, safety).
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and quality standards (HACCP, ISO 22000, etc.)
- Participate in training and skills development of the team.
- Provide replacement for the maintenance manager if necessary.
EDUCATION:
- Federal VET Diploma in electromechanics, automation, industrial maintenance or equivalent
- Federal diploma or higher education (ES/HES) is an asset.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, with initial team management experience.
- Proven experience in the food or pharmaceutical sector is highly appreciated.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Strong knowledge of electrotechnics, mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and automation.
- Proficiency in CMMS tools and preventive maintenance principles.
- Good knowledge of QHSE requirements specific to the food sector.
PERSONAL QUALITIES:
- Natural leadership, sense of responsibility, and solution-oriented.
- Rigor, autonomy, team spirit, and effective communication.
- Ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
