For the Column Development department in the field of separation columns, we are looking for a solution-oriented personality with enthusiasm for synthesis and analytics in the role of:
Chemical Laboratory Technician / Lab Technician Column Development (w/m/d)
Your tasks Project work on the development of new column materials for use in ion chromatography, including:
- Independent planning and execution of synthesis experiments
- Chemical functionalization of polymer surfaces
- Production of test columns and their characterization using ion chromatography
- Documentation, control, and evaluation of experiments
- Presentation of results within the project team
- Setup, operation, and maintenance of synthesis equipment
Your profile
- Completed basic training as a chemical laboratory technician with a federal certificate of competence or comparable diploma
- Knowledge in organic or polymer synthesis (during or after vocational training) and laboratory experience in an industrial environment, preferably in research and development
- Agile team player with independent and precise working style
- Good German and English skills, both spoken and written
- Analytical thinking and acting as well as a high implementation orientation
- Quick comprehension and interest in professional development
