Accounting Clerk

Do you love numbers and keep the big picture in mind? In our accounting team, you actively contribute, support management with diverse tasks, and together with the team ensure smooth processes and satisfied customers. Look forward to exciting insights into all facets of financial accounting as well as attractive training and development opportunities.
Tasks to be done
- Independent participation in processing subsidiary ledger processes (inventory accounting, accounts receivable and accounts payable including master data maintenance)
- Posting general ledger relevant transactions including reconciliation with subsidiary ledgers
- Invoicing customer bills
- Validating, coding, and final checking of accounts payable invoices
- Weekly supplier payments and providing information on payment inquiries or reminders
- Handling accounts receivable dunning
- Preparing and recording manual postings
- Maintaining and reconciling various accounts (cash, bank, clearing accounts)
- Participating in monthly and annual closings
- Supervising the commercial apprentice in the 3rd year of training
- Taking over various deputy roles
Your skills and strengths
- Commercial basic education or equivalent professional experience
- Knowledge in financial and operational accounting, ideally with further training in accounting clerical work
- Interest in financial accounting and administrative tasks
- Good IT skills (MS Office), ABACUS knowledge is an advantage
- High social competence, contact and communication skills as well as service-oriented action
- Entrepreneurial thinking, flexibility, and discretion complete your profile
