Job description
The University of Geneva is looking for its accounting and financial management division a
Accounting Manager 90%
Within the operational unit of the division, the post holder's mission is to:
- manage all the funds of a department and/or a faculty section, as well as the related budgets,
- check and record documents, prepare financial reports, liaise with funders,
- advise fund holders, carry out routine administrative activities.
Title and required skills
Basic training and professional experience required:
- professional maturity certificate or equivalent qualification,
- 5 years of professional experience in accounting and finance
Specific knowledge and skills useful for the position:
- proficiency in office tools, especially Excel,
- experience with accounting software, notably SAP (S4),
- ease with office tools (Excel),
- accuracy, comfort with numbers,
- ease in interpersonal relations and written and oral communication,
- good stress resistance
