Your Tasks
- Research: Your research focus is on the development of accessible, reliable, and collaborative AI in the legal field. Specifically, the BRIDGE program-funded project you will work on aims to support disadvantaged population groups in accessing the law. In close collaboration with the project team and Caritas Switzerland, you will develop, validate, and implement legal artificial intelligence tools aimed at Caritas legal advisors as well as laypersons.
- Support of the project team: Participation in publications, presentations, and teaching events.
Your Profile
- Strong interest in the field of Legal AI, Legal Technology, and the practical implementation of legal automation.
- Master's degree in Law and Technology or related fields.
- Fulfillment of the doctoral requirements of the University of St. Gallen.
- Interest in interdisciplinary research as well as willingness to learn and to leave one’s professional comfort zone.
- Team-oriented personality with a reliable working style and analytical thinking skills.
- Excellent English skills, both spoken and written.
- Preferred: good organizational skills.
- Preferred: experience in academic research or teaching.
- Preferred: good German or French skills, both spoken and written.
