Group Controller 100% (m/f/d) – Temporary Maternity Cover

*This is a fixed-term position to cover a maternity leave, ideally starting on August 1, 2025, and ending on March 31, 2026*
Job Purpose:
The Group Controller will support the accurate and timely preparation of the Group’s consolidated financial reports, contributing to the reliability of financial information used for internal and external purposes. The role provides valuable assistance in applying accounting standards, improving reporting processes, and ensuring compliance with group policies and international regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the group monthly and annual end-to-end financial closing process.
- Prepare journal entries, perform consolidation and review submitted reporting packages and ensure completeness and integrity of data.
- Timely submission of shareholder reporting deliverables (including quarterly group reporting package).
- Support preparation of consolidated quarterly financial statements and annual report in accordance with IFRS.
- Assist with annual audit and quarterly review conducted by external auditors.
- Assist with the maintenance of the global chart of accounts and the global accounting manual.
- Provide support to local accounting departments in accounting and reporting matters.
- Collaboration within special (group-wide) projects.
- Involvement in maintenance and updates in consolidation system.
Key Skills:
- Solid technical expertise in IFRS, with a deep understanding of accounting standards and their practical application.
- Proficient in Tagetik, with hands-on experience in financial planning, consolidation, and reporting processes.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with excellent communication skills.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability, consistently ensuring the reliability and accuracy of financial reporting.
- Results-driven team player, focused on achieving goals through collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Highly trustworthy and ethical, with a strong commitment to integrity and professional standards.
Qualification & Experience:
- Over 3 years of experience in financial consolidation, with a strong track record of delivering accurate and timely reports.
- Education in Accounting and Finance.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
