TasksWe are offering a PhD position to a talented and highly motivated student. You should be interested in investigating interactions between metallopharmaceuticals and cells using a broad variety of biochemical and cell biological methods. In addition, the applicant has the unique opportunity to work interdisciplinary in close collaboration with various research groups located at the University of Bern and Inselspital Bern.
Your profile
We are looking for an enthusiastic student with a Master’s degree in cell biology / biology / chemistry / biochemistry / biomedicine / pharmacy. For this position, you should be detail-oriented, and enjoy multifaceted scientific challenges.
While experience in cell and molecular biology, tissue culture, or related techniques is an advantage, it is not a strict requirement.
We offer
We provide you with the benefits of a university hospital employee including a state-of-the-art research environment. The position will be funded for a period of three years and supervised by Prof. Dr. Dr. J. T. Heverhagen. The salary will be equivalent to that of the Swiss National Science Foundation.
