The Department of Economic Affairs currently employs around 650 people. They work in the Office for Economy and Labor, the Agricultural Office, the Cantonal Forestry Office, the Office for Nature, Hunting and Fisheries, the Office for Public Transport, as well as in the General Secretariat. The General Secretariat handles central tasks for the entire Department of Economic Affairs such as personnel, IT, and finance.
