Specialist Responsible for Purchasing & Logistics / Supply Chain (50-60%) 50 - 60%

About the job

For this newly created position, we are looking for a committed individual starting May 1, 2026, or by agreement. In this key role, you will make a direct contribution to the profitability and supply security of our hospital and actively shape central processes.

• Overall responsibility for the operational purchasing of medical materials as well as operational and consumable materials
• Co-design and further development of the procurement strategy in coordination with the specialist departments
• Ensuring economical and needs-based supply of the hospital
• Active development of the supplier portfolio including negotiations and conditions management
• Responsibility for efficient inventory management and smooth material flows
• Analysis of consumption and cost data as well as derivation of optimization measures
• Sparring partner for management, finance, as well as medical and nursing departments on procurement-related issues

• Several years of experience in purchasing, logistics, or supply chain management, ideally in healthcare
• Strong understanding of business contexts and process workflows
• Ability to reconcile different interests and develop viable solutions
• Negotiation skills and confident appearance at various hierarchical levels
• High personal responsibility, structured working style, and pragmatic implementation skills
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
