Attached to the Department of Medicine , the Rheumatology Service cares for adult patients with disorders of the musculoskeletal system (bones, joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments) of inflammatory, autoimmune, microcrystalline, or mechanical origin. It is currently developing a management approach promoting self-management and therapeutic patient education.
Job Description
As a research and nutrition intern, you participate in various activities in collaboration with doctors, psychologists, and a nurse: For example, developing a research protocol to study the effect of intermittent fasting on the activity of rheumatic diseases, or setting up a nutrition workshop for patients with gout.
In collaboration with the entire multidisciplinary team of the service, you also participate in project management and event organization.
You contribute to communication activities around the different projects, testing various communication media with patients, also in collaboration with the HUG communication service.
Qualifications
You demonstrate great adaptability that allows you to interact with different audiences and situations. Your team spirit and interpersonal skills help you work interdisciplinarily and integrate easily within our team.
You have good organizational skills and ease in producing clear summaries and taking notes.
You have good skills in the field of scientific research.
A good command of the French language is mandatory (Level C1 required).
You are enrolled in a postgraduate training program in research or public health and must complete a mandatory internship as part of your curriculum.
