Nursing Specialist HF Studies

Every year, many young people take the leap into professional life with us as cooks and chefs, kitchen staff EBA, health professionals (FaGe), health and social assistants (AGS), hospitality and housekeeping professionals EFZ and EBA, as well as commercial employees. Or they complete a Nursing Specialist HF degree.

The Dielsdorf Health Center is a specialized nursing institution with around 430 employees in the Zurich lowlands and ensures care at nursing places for the 22 political municipalities of the Dielsdorf district with about 90,000 inhabitants. With over 200 beds, the inpatient offering of general long-term care is complemented by specialized treatment pathways for rehabilitative acute and transitional care, palliative care, psychiatric geriatrics, and the focus on dementia.

The Regional Spitex forms an important part of the care offering. It provides outpatient services for the five contract municipalities. In the future, it is planned to establish a night Spitex.

• Completed apprenticeship as a health professional EFZ, Matura or equivalent

• Empathy as well as high social competence in dealing with residents, clients, and their relatives as well as in cooperation with employees

• Practical understanding, a pronounced sense of responsibility, and an independent working style characterize you

• Active and situation-appropriate relationship and communication skills

• A resilient, sociable, and humorous personality with good observation skills

• Joy in working for and with people

• Good German skills in spoken and written form (at least level C1)

• Willingness to further develop your expertise and make an important contribution to the success of our health center

• You have already attended an information event on the Nursing HF studies at a higher technical school ZAG or Careum and/or are already registered

• Progressive working conditions with constant salary payment during the entire training period under attractive conditions, also for the regular study program

• A varied field of work and insight into various specialist areas

• Integrated external internship in the departments of acute and transitional care, gerontopsychiatry, and regional outpatient care

• Training duration: 3 years (shortened HF studies of 2 years possible with completed apprenticeship as health professional EFZ)

• Own learning transfer training (LTT) offer
