Driven by the belief that everyone can make a difference, the HUG founded an Innovation Center to improve and evolve the hospital. A true exchange platform, this Center promotes collective intelligence by valuing staff ideas and turning them into concrete projects. It offers support services, collaborative spaces, and tools to nurture and promote innovative initiatives.
Since 2019, the Innovation Center has supported the HUG's Vision 20+5 strategic plan. A pioneer in Europe in the hospital field, it has developed an intrapreneurship model closely linked to the Patients Partners project, allowing the design of solutions close to the real needs of patients. Each year, nearly 800 people participate in the Center's events, which have already catalyzed more than 60 innovative projects.
Job Description
In this stimulating context, you will join the Innovation Center team under the responsibility of the operational manager. You actively contribute to its visibility, both internally and externally, by organizing events, workshops, and sessions that encourage ideation and the promotion of innovation. You are responsible for all stages, from design to facilitation, including concept and provider research, logistical coordination, budget monitoring, on-site implementation, and associated communication.
You animate the community of innovators by creating opportunities for meetings, networking, and exchange, both in person and on social media, via newsletters or the Center's platforms. You encourage a culture of innovation and highlight talents capable of imagining simple, clever, and effective solutions.
You are also responsible for creating varied editorial content: texts, articles, videos, infographics, visuals, presentations, contests… to promote the Center's activities and the projects it catalyzes. You also lead the creation of the Innovation Center's podcast.
At the same time, you propose ideas and projects to enrich the Center's activities, which you manage autonomously while benefiting from the team's support. You interact with a wide variety of professionals: caregivers, doctors, researchers, developers, as well as patients. Your ability to find solutions allows you to respond to regular requests as well as unforeseen events, while embodying the Center's image daily.
Qualifications
For this position, you hold a higher education degree and have skills in marketing, communication, event organization, project management, or innovation engineering. You have proven experience in a similar role and a strong interest in health innovation, new technologies, and improving the quality of care.
You master office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) as well as digital and design tools such as Canva, Figma, Final Cut, and the Adobe suite. Video editing skills are an asset. You are familiar with social networks, especially Instagram and LinkedIn, and know how to use them for targeted communication.
In a constantly evolving environment, you demonstrate adaptability, rigor, and attention to detail. You communicate clearly about the progress of your activities, are curious, and do not hesitate to ask questions to learn. You know how to manage heavy workloads or exceptional situations with composure and responsiveness.
Autonomous, you have a sense of priorities and initiative. You maintain harmonious relationships with your contacts thanks to your diplomacy, listening skills, and even temperament. You have perfect command of French, both written and spoken, and possess good analytical and synthesis skills. Your dynamism, creativity, proactivity, rigor, and good humor make you an ideal collaborator to join our team.
Any additional complementary skills with high added value are welcomed with interest.
