Make a difference for patients
We are looking for an Immunology Manufacturing Specialist with excellent communication skills and great attention to detail to join our immunology production team, based at our production site in Bulle, Switzerland.
About the role
Within the Biotech plant in Bulle, the Immunology Manufacturing Specialist has the following main responsibilities:
- Handle cross-functional production support activities such as monitoring documentation, results, investigations, and continuous improvement projects.
- Support the execution of production activities on site by directly assisting the production teams.
You will work with
Within UCB's Biotech production team, you will join a passionate and close-knit team of 13 internal colleagues.
Your activities
- Write deviation reports or escalate information so that the report is written within the allotted time. Track deviations from issuance to closure.
- Conduct/participate in necessary investigations and their documentation.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects and/or PMO projects.
- Participate in troubleshooting production areas, act as a process expert, and be able to provide process on-call service.
- Review and interpret production results online. If necessary, take immediate corrective actions and participate in defining action plans.
- Identify continuous improvement points, report them, and resolve them.
Interested? For this position, you must have the following education, experience, and skills:
- 3 years of experience in the biotech industry.
- Education level: Bachelor/Master in Life Science.
- Proactive, autonomous personality, capable of taking initiatives.
- Investigation skills on various types of issues (technical, organizational, relational, etc.).
- Good leadership skills: organizational, decision-making, and control abilities.
- Strong communication skills.
- Mastery of DeltaV and MES system is an asset.
- Languages: proficiency in French and English required.
