Your tasks

- As the first contact person for refugees in the Canton of Lucerne, you receive and process their concerns and inquiries.
- You are responsible for managing the data - from registration to case closure.
- As a case-leading caseworker, you independently take on important tasks such as client interviews (case intake, short consultations, information provision, etc.), the substantive review of social assistance applications regarding jurisdiction, neediness, calculation and payment of economic social assistance according to cantonal laws, etc.
- You competently coordinate contacts with third parties, such as health insurance companies, insurers, authorities.
- In this diverse area of responsibility, you will be supported by committed and helpful colleagues.
Your profile
- You have completed a commercial apprenticeship EFZ or an equivalent qualification.
- You are interested in acquiring expertise in statutory social assistance as well as subsidiarity and social insurance issues. We are happy to support you in this.
- You enjoy working with people from different cultural backgrounds and approach them with empathy and a positive attitude.
- With your precise and structured way of working, you tackle complex tasks with motivation and remain calm even in hectic phases.
