Join the GPS Associate Programme, a structured two-year development journey designed for ambitious early-career professionals aiming to build a career in private banking.
As part of the Client Coverage & Advisory team in Switzerland/Hong Kong, you will embark on a dynamic 18-24 month programme combining rotational assignments, intensive training, and mentorship with challenging projects and responsibilities.
Through hands-on experience and continuous learning, you will develop the skills, network, and business acumen necessary to transition into a permanent role as an Investment Advisor within GPS upon successful completion.

The GPS unit plays a central role in shaping client-focused investment strategies, developing innovative financial products, and providing expert advisory across all major asset classes. YOUR CHALLENGE
During the programme, you will rotate through 2-3 teams within GPS, gaining broad exposure to different asset classes, portfolio construction approaches, and investment strategies. You will work alongside experienced experts to:
- Prepare client investment proposals and tailor portfolio and investment recommendations
- Support in client and prospect pitches (e.g. presentation materials, investment insights, market opportunities)
- Develop and assess innovative investment ideas aligned to clients’ investment objectives, needs, and risk profile
- Assist in preparing regular portfolio reviews and analysis
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline
- CFA Charterholder (or equivalent) or being enrolled to one of the CFA Exams is considered an advantage
- Italian native level, fluency in English, additional language(s) are an advantage
- 2-3 years of professional experience (including internships)
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit – proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable taking initiative
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking abilities, capable of processing complex information quickly
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Service-oriented mindset with a dedication to excellence in client support
- Systematic, precise, and resilient working style – able to deliver quality results under tight deadlines
- For this role based in Lugano (CH), eligibility to work in the country of application throughout the duration of the programme
