About the job

The UAPE Les Pirates is managed by the Municipality of Denges and is part of the AJEMA reception network.
Its mission is to offer support within a collective, warm, organized, and thoughtfully designed living environment for schoolchildren from 1st to 6th grade.
The quality of the services offered to the children we welcome and the relationships with parents are at the heart of our concerns.
The UAPE Les Pirates is open during school weeks and offers four day camps during the holidays.

To complete our team, we are looking for, starting February 1, 2026, a Childhood Educator (ES, HES, ASE) Socio-cultural Animator at 50% (3 days)

Main missions
- Ensure quality supervision of the children welcomed by guaranteeing their well-being and safety
- Supervise, propose, and animate activities adapted to the children’s age, promoting their development
- Actively collaborate with the educational team and management
- Participate in the development of the educational concept and ensure its daily implementation
- Establish and maintain trusting relationships with parents and children

Desired profile and skills
- Recognized diploma in the field of education (HES/EDE/ASE or equivalence obtained from SEFRI)
- Significant experience with children or groups of children
- Team spirit and willingness to invest in projects
- Ability to develop reflective action on one’s activity and to assume one’s role in an engaged and autonomous manner
- Clean criminal record
