Your missions
- Ensure the operational management of the ECAB based on existing legislation and implement the strategy developed with the Board of Directors
- Lead, support and develop the management team
- Manage the initiated project to reform the insurance system and the business model aimed at ensuring the sustainability of the institution and adapting to evolving risks
- Positively and proactively develop the ECAB by continuously assessing the needs of the insured and partners
- Defend the interests and projects of the ECAB with various stakeholders
- Represent the institution in various meetings, within umbrella organizations and sector working groups

Required profile
- Proven experience within a management team, ideally as director
- Particular interest in the areas of activity specific to the ECAB (insurance, prevention, natural hazards, construction and finance)
- Ability to analyze and understand complex issues
- Experience in defining, managing and implementing strategies as well as change management
- Ability to read, interpret and use performance indicators
- Experience in managing a team of executives
- Ability to motivate, listen to and empower staff
- Ease in interpersonal relationships and ability to understand the respective needs of many stakeholders
- Very good persuasion and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage stress and remain calm in high-pressure situations
- Sensitivity to sustainability, climate and social responsibility issues
- Ability to innovate and anticipate the future needs of the institution
- Good knowledge of the Fribourg institutional and political system is an asset
- Perfect command of French or German and ability to express oneself easily in the partner language
