Deputy Head of Finance Department (100%)
The office forms the service center of the Reformed Church Community of Zurich. In total, the church community employs around 500 staff members. For the finance department, we are looking for you as a committed person to start immediately or by arrangement
Your tasks
- Consulting, deputizing, and supporting the Head of Finance
- Administration of the operational software «Infoma Newsystem»
- Responsibility for the correct accounting of the Reformed Church Community of Zurich according to HRM2
- Guidance and support of employees in the finance department
- Primary contact person for financial-technical audits
- Participation in the budget process of the Reformed Church Community of Zurich
- Validation and analysis of the budgets of the organizational units
- Development and further advancement of effective and efficient controlling within the Reformed Church Community of Zurich
- Establishment and implementation of risk management and the internal control system (ICS)
Your profile
- Completed business studies with a focus on accounting & controlling, professional certificate in finance and accounting with several years of experience in a similar position or equivalent further education at HF/FH/University level
- Confident in balance sheets, experienced in dealing with external audit firms
- Experience in the public-law environment is an advantage
- Very good IT understanding and proficient use of common Office applications
- High social competence with pronounced personal responsibility as well as independent and precise working style
- Service-oriented personality with conceptual skills
