familea is a socially responsible association with a tradition of over 120 years in the Basel area. The offer includes over 40 daycare centers with around 1900 care places, a children's home with three decentralized living groups, a transit home for clarification and crisis intervention, a women's counseling center, and the Foster Care Center. By starting an internship at a familea daycare center in Basel-Landschaft and Aargau, you will get to know the profession of FaBe in all its facets and be perfectly prepared for the 3-year apprenticeship.
The social internship serves to:
- career orientation
- as a vocational internship FMS
- to bridge the time before starting studies
- as a gap year
- preparation and qualification for the 3-year training as a childcare specialist with a Federal Certificate of Competence (FaBe K EFZ)

- Completed compulsory schooling
