You bring with you
For this position, you have completed an apprenticeship as a laboratory technician with a subsequent HFP degree and/or a university of applied sciences degree in chemistry (FH) or a related field of study. You have good knowledge in (water) analytics, e.g., IC, elemental analysis, TOC/DOC, titration line, photometry. In addition, you have a good sense of dealing with apprentices and may have already completed a vocational trainer course. Good German and English skills as well as proficient ICT skills, especially the common Office suite (advanced Excel skills), R scripting (basic), LIMS, and databases complete your profile.
You are reliable! Both the team and the apprentices as well as the researchers appreciate your open, communicative, and service-oriented manner. You work responsibly, independently, structured, and efficiently, have a quick grasp, enthusiasm, and keep an overview even in complex situations.

These are your main tasks
- Creating and implementing deployment plans for work in the AuA laboratory
- Training apprentices in the basics of chemical water analysis
- Guiding and supervising apprentices in working with analytical instruments
- Independently performing demanding analyses with result evaluation
- Method development, validation, and quality assurance as well as maintenance of the instrument park
- Verification of chemical measurement data, preparation of online data and data sets for databases, as well as other IT-related tasks
