- you conduct inpatient admissions as well as outpatient diagnostic preliminary discussions

- you engage in interprofessional collaboration and are in close exchange with nursing staff, psychologists, social services, and specialist therapists

You inspire us…
- with your completed medical studies and, for foreign diplomas, with completed registration at the Medical Board (MEBEKO) as well as your completed specialist training (FMH) in Psychiatry and Psychotherapy or Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy (D). An interdisciplinary SAPPM certificate is an advantage or can be obtained with us
- with your leadership experience or your willingness to familiarize yourself with personnel and team leadership with the support of experienced colleagues
- with your experience, joy, and curiosity in psychotherapeutic work (also in group psychotherapies) or your willingness to familiarize yourself with this field
- as a motivated, team- and cooperation-capable, initiative personality with joy in shaping the ward setting, leadership tasks, as well as an interdisciplinary and networking way of working
- with your very good German skills in spoken and written form (native German speaker or language level according to the European Framework of Reference at least C1)
About us
The Barmelweid Clinic is one of the leading specialized and rehabilitation clinics in Switzerland with a cross-disciplinary range of services. Together with the nursing center, it employs around 750 staff. The Barmelweid Clinic operates around 290 inpatient treatment places for pneumology, pulmonary, cardiac, geriatric and internal rehabilitation, sleep medicine, as well as Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy.
The Department of Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy has 116 beds in the inpatient area and additionally 12 mostly integrated day clinic places on the Barmelweid campus. Furthermore, the entire clinical spectrum of Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy is offered in our outpatient clinics in Aarau and Frick. As one of the leading and largest psychosomatic-psychotherapeutic clinical facilities in Switzerland, the department is unique in its self-understanding, as patients can be treated who suffer simultaneously from multimorbid somatic diseases as well as complex psychopathological disorders. Our inpatient multimodal psychosomatic-psychotherapeutic setting is integratively oriented.
