Claims Inspector Property Damage Directorate (m/f/d)

What to expect

In the Property Damage East department of the Directorate, we are looking to supplement our team of property damage specialists due to an upcoming retirement. Together with you, we are responsible for handling complex claims cases in the Eastern market.

Your impact with us

The focus of this position is the independent handling and settlement of complex claims cases in the property sectors of our private and business customers. Your area of operation extends to parts of the canton of Zurich, especially the areas of our general agencies Zurich, Glattal and Dielsdorf. You assess coverage and liability issues and prepare damage calculations.

You conduct demanding investigations and negotiations with policyholders, their legal representatives, and experts.

Additionally, you support our general agency claims services in technical matters and participate in projects as well as in training and further education.

Your profile

• Solid insurance training (professional certificate) or equivalent qualification
• Several years of professional experience in handling complex claims cases as a claims inspector
• Enjoyment of business management contexts
• Initiative, communicative, independent and assertive personality
• Customer- and solution-oriented working style, professional appearance and negotiation skills
• German as mother tongue, knowledge of English and/or another national language is an advantage

The workload is between 80-100% and the workplace is Zurich-Oerlikon. The position starts on 1 January 2027 or by arrangement.
