With numerous conferences, meetings, guided tours, lectures, and performances annually, the Goetheanum is a house of culture and a place of encounter. At the same time, the Goetheanum is the seat of the Free University for Spiritual Science and the center of the internationally active Anthroposophical Society.

The Goetheanum stage is one of the largest stages in Switzerland, hosting about 130 performances per year in the fields of eurythmy, theater, and music, and has three stages: the Great Hall (1000 seats), the Foundation Stone Hall (400 seats), and the Joinery Hall (300 seats). We operate a modern large stage with upper and lower machinery, side stages, and an orchestra pit.

The Goetheanum stage in Dornach is looking for a

Specialist in Event Technology (80%-100%)

to start immediately or by arrangement.

In this role, you will be part of the stage technology/lighting team and contribute significantly to ensuring smooth stage operations.

The scope of duties includes:

• Working in the lighting workshop (repairs, maintenance, and servicing of equipment and lighting devices)
• Preparing, supervising, and conducting events. Operating the control panel and running the lighting during performances (ETC software)
• Supporting the planning, maintenance, and monitoring of technical equipment as well as stage infrastructure and its network
• Assisting with the procurement of operational and consumable materials

For this versatile and interesting position, we are looking for a motivated, team-oriented, and competent professional with the following qualifications:

• Professional experience in event technology or as an electrician, electronics technician, operations technician, or all-rounder (preferably in an electrotechnical profession)
• Other manual skills are an advantage (wood, metal)
• Technical understanding, organizational skills, and solution-oriented thinking
• Teamwork skills and service-oriented approach
• Independent and reliable working style
• Good physical condition
• Good knowledge of German
