Specialist in Accounting (100%)
Your interesting area of responsibility:
- You ensure the operational daily business of financial accounting according to IPSAS and are ultimately responsible for results, deadlines, and quality.
- You prepare interim and annual financial statements including reconciliations and support the ZVV organization as well as the transport companies in the network with technical questions.
- You independently manage the general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- You take over budgeting and financial planning for the ZVV network organization.
- You are responsible for VAT returns, reporting, projections, and evaluations.
- You prepare the audit and professionally accompany examinations.
- You document and improve processes and controls and initiate targeted improvements.
- You actively participate in projects, system adjustments, and new topics in the field of public transport or take the lead.
- You identify new areas of action and build the necessary processes for them in a structured manner.
- You represent the head of accounting and traffic revenue accounting.
What you bring with you:
- You have a professional certificate in finance and accounting, a completed degree in business administration with a focus on accounting and controlling, or a comparable qualification.
- You have at least 3-5 years of qualified experience in financial accounting with responsibility in the closing process.
- You have very good knowledge of using Abacus.
- You work in a structured and reliable manner with high personal responsibility and a strong sense of quality.
- As a team player, you enjoy interdisciplinary collaboration, are assertive, and skilled in dealing with different stakeholders.
- Your heart beats for public transport and you have an interest in complex financial and organizational contexts.
- You are interested in digital and efficient solutions, as well as motivated to actively further develop processes.
