In this position, you are responsible for the engineering as well as the continuous development of all data center locations. You actively work on our projects in the areas of infrastructure, systems, and customers or independently lead these projects. As a committed team member, you take responsibility for the shared tasks and contribute actively to their successful implementation. - Definition and establishment of standards for engineering and installation as well as architectural and design specifications for data centers in close collaboration with the team
- Evaluation and selection of the systems and products used to ensure optimal solutions
- Implementation and execution of technical requirements and tasks within projects, considering efficiency and quality
- Development and detailed elaboration of various solution approaches for complex technical issues
- Conducting precise calculations for technical systems, possibly involving external expertise
- Ensuring the successful completion of final tests for completed work and creating accurate documentation
- Handover of new technical systems to operational operations
- Leading and managing projects while adhering to applicable project management processes and standards
- Supporting sales in clarifying technical questions in the engineering area to enable informed decisions
- Evaluation and selection of suppliers based on defined criteria and quality standards
- Active maintenance of customer contacts without taking on sales responsibility
Your skills
- Completed training as an engineer in electrical engineering, electronics, or a comparable field
- Experience and solid knowledge in the data center field (operations or projects) or a comparable environment are desirable
- Familiarity with project management related to critical infrastructure
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders within projects
- High resilience and assertiveness, even in stressful and demanding situations
- Strong team orientation and high social competence
- Strong sense of responsibility and reliability
- Solution-oriented thinking and approach
- Enthusiasm for technical and technological topics
- Very good language skills in German and English, both spoken and written, including the ability to conduct meetings in English
