Your area of responsibility

Care management

Your nursing scope of action is diverse. You take over treatment and basic care for people with psychiatric or somatic illnesses and build a sustainable therapeutic relationship with them within the framework of care management. With the guidance and support of the case manager, you practice suitable strategies for coping with stress or anxiety disorders with the affected individuals. Or you assist them with basic daily coping and structuring of their daily and weekly routines. You measure vital signs, help with wound care or personal hygiene of your clients.

Interdisciplinary collaboration

You work with other involved parties such as doctors, social services, or our case manager. This expands your professional spectrum and contributes to the targeted and well-coordinated healthcare of our clients. In site discussions together with the client and the responsible therapist, you contribute your knowledge and ideas. As a contact person, you play a significant role in passing on information about the care situation to the case manager or the doctor.

Nursing documentation

In implementing nursing interventions, you orient yourself to the care planning. After your nursing shifts, you report your services based on specific quality criteria in our electronic nursing system. You support the case manager in evaluating the previous care process and in adjusting the care planning. With your consistently maintained documentation, you make an important contribution to high-quality care.

Your profile

Thirst for knowledge and passion

You have a nursing qualification (Health Specialist EFZ, Nursing Specialist FA SRK) and are far from tired of learning new things. Your heart beats for working with people, their holistic care, and improving their quality of life. As a career changer from somatic care, you enjoy immersing yourself in the exciting field of psychiatric nursing.

Structured and mobile

You manage to act calmly and thoughtfully even in hectic situations. You can organize yourself well and enjoy planning your workday independently. You orient yourself to the respective care plans and implement the corresponding measures appropriately. You don’t mind being on the move daily. Ideally, you have a category B driving license and have your own car.

Determined and cooperative

You like to set ambitious goals and pursue them persistently. You are willing to objectively assess your work results and remain interested in feedback. You enjoy contributing to the operational activities and supporting your team in fulfilling its responsible tasks.
