The Burgerspittel is the senior institution of the Burgergemeinde Bern. In a refined atmosphere, we offer care and support as well as numerous hotel services for around 190 elderly residents. We cultivate a warm welcome culture and treat employees and residents openly and appreciatively.

These are your tasks
- Assuming professional responsibility for the entire nursing process
- Carrying out nursing measures with a focus on the safety and well-being of the residents
- Ensuring nursing documentation
- Contact person for doctors on medical matters and other services involved in the nursing process as well as for residents and their relatives within the scope of duties
- Participation in the training of apprentices according to competencies

- A tertiary education and solid experience in long-term care (re-entrants are warmly welcome)
- Life experience and pronounced social skills
- Flexibility, resilience, and openness to new things
- Independent and focused work with a holistic view of resident care
- Good German skills (spoken and written, as well as understanding Swiss German dialect)
