We are looking for a chief physician at 80%–100% from June 1, 2026, to lead the abC Vaud, an inter-cantonal reference center for the management of eating disorders.

Context
The Vaud Anorexia Bulimia Center (abC) is attached to the Liaison Psychiatry Service of the Department of Psychiatry. It cares for adolescents (from 13 years old) and adults suffering from anorexia nervosa and/or bulimia, at two sites:
in Lausanne (outpatient consultation and day center)
in Pompaples (16-bed inpatient unit at Espace Saint-Loup)
The abC works closely with SUPEA for minor patients and also has an inter-cantonal mission.
The position is integrated into the management of the Liaison Psychiatry Service, in direct connection with the head of service.
Mission
- You ensure the overall medical responsibility of the center (outpatient, day hospital, inpatient)
- You supervise and develop the clinical activities of the outpatient center and the day center
- You participate in the strategic management of the liaison psychiatry service
- You coordinate pre- and post-graduate teaching activities in the field of eating disorders
- You implement quality assurance measures, in line with institutional requirements
- You actively contribute to academic development, in connection with the university mission.
Profile
- You are an FMH specialist physician in psychiatry and psychotherapy
- You have additional university training in the field of eating disorders
- You have extensive clinical experience in the management of eating disorders
- You have proven experience in team leadership and interprofessional supervision
- You possess skills in planning, management, supervision, and communication
- You demonstrate a strong ability to unite and develop clinical and institutional projects.
