About the job

To complement our «Fugu» daycare team in Meilen, we are looking for a cook 29.76% (spread over 5 days, 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.) from May, limited until the end of August or by arrangement.

«Fugu» daycares are a private operation aimed at expanding family-supportive childcare at attractive locations. Our daycare in Meilen is located in close proximity to the train station. We have 366 m2 of bright rooms available, which we have designed and furnished to be child-friendly. Our cook ensures delicious and healthy meals daily for the children and all staff. The daycare is organized into 4 groups. Opening hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.

Your creativity is in demand! As a cook, you ensure that children and employees stay energized. You are passionate about preparing meals that you design creatively. You bring a strong sense of responsibility, consider children's allergies, and ensure that the food is ready on time for lunch. Following hygiene regulations is no problem for you, and you also enjoy that children regularly cook along.

TASKS

Preparation of lunch for about 40 children and 15 employees

Economical and environmentally conscious use of food supplies

Maintenance of the kitchen and kitchen equipment

Compliance with hygiene and food regulations

Weekly ordering of food supplies

REQUIREMENTS

Experience in preparing meals for multiple people

German language skills

Open and transparent communication with supervisors and employees

Contribution to constructive teamwork
