Welcome to the schools of the city of Schaffhausen!
In the beautiful Munot city on the Rhine, around 3700 students are taught in 13 school buildings and 38 kindergarten departments. From the small village school to the large urban campus, there is certainly something suitable for you!
The Steig School is the oldest of the city schools and belongs to the Steig-Hemmental school unit.
Although it is a city school, the size is manageable with just under 200 schoolchildren and about 30 teachers. Currently, 11 classes are taught, 8 regular classes, one EK, and two support classes.
The school is currently undergoing major changes due to the new building, which is being constructed on the site until summer 2028 and offers new spatial possibilities.
The committed team looks forward to a motivated teacher who enjoys working in a small, lively school community. We value a personal interaction and look forward to someone who likes to get involved and actively shape everyday school life.
We are looking for a dedicated person for the new school year (starting August 1, 2025).
