Physiotherapist for the Geriatric Rehabilitation Service
To complete our team, we are looking for a physiotherapist with an activity rate of 80% to 100%, for our Geriatrics and Geriatric Rehabilitation Service located in Epalinges (CUTR de Sylvana). Starting date: as soon as possible.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, it plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Geriatrics and Geriatric Rehabilitation Service is a cantonal reference center for the care of patients in geriatric rehabilitation. It develops efficient and complex care based on scientific evidence and ensures the training of its professionals.
Physiotherapists work at CUTR Sylvana in Epalinges, within a dynamic, open, and committed team.
The service offers individualized care for senior patients, aiming for a return home. The situations encountered are varied and often complex (medico-surgical pathologies, multiple geriatric syndromes), in an interdisciplinary, person-centered approach.
Mission
- You ensure the identification, planning, execution, and evaluation of physiotherapy services in the preventive, curative, palliative, and educational fields, through clinical evaluation, respecting professional standards and institutional rules
- You actively participate in the organization of work and continuity of unit activities, thanks to your communication and interprofessional coordination skills
- You develop prevention, health promotion, functional rehabilitation, and social reintegration actions through therapeutic and educational approaches
- You actively participate in continuous improvement processes based on scientific evidence, as well as in the development of the profession and its self-assessment capacities.
Profile
- You hold a Bachelor of Science in physiotherapy (or an equivalent title recognized by the Swiss Red Cross, mandatory)
- You have experience in geriatrics or geriatric rehabilitation
- You know how to react effectively in acute and complex situations
- You are open to change and motivated by professional development
- You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- You show a strong interest in interdisciplinary collaboration
- You master spoken and written French (level C1)
- You are comfortable with computer tools and electronic patient records.
Depending on the candidate's profile, the salary class will be between 8 and 9.
