Strengthen our technical department at the Trubschachen location as a Civil Engineer FH (80–100%).

Jakob Rope Systems develops and sells architectural systems made of stainless steel as well as solutions for rope and lifting technology. Our products and services are well established in the market and are distributed worldwide in over 40 countries. Together with our subsidiaries, we employ over 700 people. Production and processing mainly take place at our locations in Trubschachen and Saigon in Vietnam.

To strengthen our technical department at the Trubschachen location, we are looking for a:

Civil Engineer FH (80–100%)

• Parametric planning in the context of the digital process chain
• Design and dimensioning of components / parts made of stainless and structural steel for customer-specific solutions with FEM simulations (Dlubal RFEM) from preliminary design to production and assembly
• Technical support and advice to our technical sales teams worldwide
• Engineering and project planning in a team and supervision of execution
• Engineering degree in civil engineering, ideally with prior training as a draftsman
• Good German and English skills, French is an advantage
• Analytical thinking, quick comprehension, and creativity for innovative solutions
• Advantageous: experience in static calculations according to SIA / Eurocode
