WinGD is looking for a
Customer Support Manager Ammonia
Location: Winterthur
Workload: 100%
Starting Date: 01.04.2026 or tbd
Responsibilities:
- Customer Support: Provide assigned key customers (shipowners) the needed support on daily inquiries, technical assistance and troubleshooting
- Key account function, interface of WinGD towards end customer (ship operators), and internally interface to R&D team
- Responsible for the post development of WinGD Ammonia technology, in close cooperation with Product Management team like portfolio responsibility
- Define short term and mid-term design improvements, engine drawings and manuals in close cooperation with R&D, Product Management and warranty team - with high cost awareness
- Ensure timely and consistent communication towards our customers; engine builders, shipyards and ship operators together with our local offices
- Monitor actual project cost; forecast future cost to define the budget need for the upcoming periods
- Support / moderation of customer meetings and support of Sales team
Requirements:
- MSc or BSc degree in Engineering or equivalent working experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the marine engine business or similar businesses
- Knowledge of 2 stroke crosshead diesel engine technology, maintenance and/or operation of advantage
- 2 Stroke injection systems knowledge of advantage
- Knowledge of cooperation with internal and external partners
- Pro-active and self driven personality
- Experience with harardous fluids handling of advantage
- Fluent in English (written / verbal)
