Contract Manager Plant Operation and Maintenance (80-100%) - 1475
Ensuring electricity in Switzerland
In this staff function, you are the SPOC responsible for the implementation, support, and procurement of service contracts for the maintenance of the entire Swissgrid transmission network. Furthermore, you are responsible for the following tasks:
- Control and monitoring of service providers regarding costs, deadlines, and quality
- Co-design of maintenance measures on Swissgrid's network assets (content-wise as well as system-technical mapping)
- Support of safe working practices for Swissgrid and partners – living and promoting the "Safety First" culture
- Strategic further development of cooperation with service providers and support in overarching projects as well as representation of Swissgrid towards service providers and partners
- Specification, evaluation, and procurement of services from planners, operating resources, etc., as well as responsibility for the corresponding contracts
- Handling of active and passive claims (preparation and conduct of negotiations) in cooperation with internal specialists
- Consulting and support of operational functions in carrying out their contract-relevant tasks

For this position, we are looking for a solution-oriented, communicative, and very conscientious personality with a pronounced doer mentality. You proactively acquire new knowledge and enjoy independently developing solutions and driving improvements. In addition, you bring the following:
- Completed engineering degree (or comparable education) in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, construction, or industrial engineering
- Knowledge of business administration
- Several years of experience in planning, project design, or maintenance within the energy sector, plant engineering, or comparable is an advantage
- Experience in project management, contract management, and public procurement according to the SIA methodology
- German or French at native speaker level with very good knowledge of the other language and good English skills

About us
The Asset Operations department consists of seven teams at all Swissgrid locations. In this staff position, you report directly to the Head of Asset Operations and are thus at the heart of the action. Cooperative collaboration within the teams, with other departments, as well as with our service providers and partners is very important to us and a must for maintenance management and the safe operation of our plants. We place great value on independence but also appreciate the exchange of experience and knowledge among each other.
