The Steinfeld retirement and nursing home is located in the middle of the village of Suhr, close to Aarau, and offers a comfortable home to 99 elderly, independent as well as care- and support-dependent persons.
What you will achieve with us
- Free choice of workload between 40-100% and flexible shift selection (early or late shifts). Shifts can be individually divided into half or full shifts
- You are responsible for the professional care and support of the residents and are flexibly deployed throughout the house in all departments or integrated into one of the three care teams
- You are the primary caregiver and work within the primary care system (including work with relatives)
- You share responsibility for the implementation of the qualified care process
- You are responsible for preparing, checking, and distributing medications
- You actively maintain cooperation with relatives and doctors, therapists, etc.
What you bring with you
- Training as a Health Specialist EFZ, Care Specialist EFZ with further education in medical technology and medication knowledge (or willingness to complete this) or Dipl. Nursing Specialist HF/DN2/DN1 (or equivalent qualification)
- Experience in long-term care
- Preferably experience with the LOBOS care manager
- Empathy, flexibility, and teamwork skills as well as an independent, responsible, and committed working style
- Ability to make decisions independently and correctly within your own area of competence
- Willingness to change and joy in participating in change processes
