- You actively participate in the development and evaluation of our educational concepts.
- You plan and coordinate the practical training as well as the assignments of the trainees in the nursing sector.
- You ensure that the training quality is maintained in the various areas of nursing (FaGe, FMS).
- You take on the personnel management of around 15 trainees and accompany them through introductory talks, learning support, and evaluation discussions.
- You are the contact person for education-related external bodies as well as for guardians.
- Together with the team, you develop, evaluate, and update cross-location training concepts and overarching educational topics in the nursing sector. Based on current knowledge and the requirements of Psychiatry St. Gallen.
- You work in project-related and interdisciplinary teams and actively shape the training concepts.
- You participate in external and internal specialist meetings and actively contribute to the exchange in your discipline.
- You supervise and coach our vocational trainers on the various wards.
- You plan and conduct further training for vocational trainers and ensure their professional pedagogical competence.
- You contribute to strategic junior staff planning and educational marketing (e.g., information events, schools, fairs).
- You represent the Head of Vocational Training and Advanced Professional Education in various committees and at external events and are a member of the Association of Vocational Training Managers Psychiatry Switzerland.
- You have a completed tertiary nursing education and at least two years of professional experience, ideally in a role as a vocational training manager or trainer.
- You hold a federal specialist certificate as a trainer or an equivalent qualification.
- You have sound knowledge of the Swiss education system as well as educational theories and didactics.
- You bring strong social and leadership skills, especially in communication, cooperation, and conflict resolution.
- You think innovatively and analytically and enjoy working with young people, whom you support creatively and solution-oriented.
- You show high initiative and are able to take responsibility and manage your tasks independently.
