Team Leader Unemployment Compensation 80 - 100 %
In the interest of employees and companies, the Office for Labor (AFA) contributes to strengthening the location Zurich. The labor market policy competencies are bundled in the AFA. Around 650 employees work at more than 20 locations. The Unemployment Fund (ALK) is a service organization of the Office for Labor (AFA). The ALK's mandate is to clarify entitlement as well as to calculate and pay benefits of the unemployment insurance (ALV). To strengthen the existing management team of the Unemployment Fund Canton Zurich, we are looking for a committed leader. Your workplace is in Leonardo in Oerlikon and you will start your new challenge on November 1, 2025, or by agreement.
Your tasks:
- Professional and personnel management of a team with about 7 employees
- Responsibility for uniform service delivery processes and quality standards
- Ensuring compliance with legal requirements, especially AVIG
- Active participation in the ALK management team as well as in cross-departmental projects
- Consulting and support of internal and external stakeholders
- Participation in daily business with a file inventory
Your profile:
- At least 3 years of federally recognized vocational training and further education in social insurance is an advantage (federal social insurance certificate or CAS Social Insurance)
- Proven professional experience in AVIG enforcement, preferably in the area of unemployment compensation
- Initial leadership experience is an advantage
- High practical orientation and ability to support the team professionally
- Strong analytical as well as solution- and process-oriented skills combined with implementation strength
- Winning and communicative personality with initiative, assertiveness, and decisiveness
- Reliable, efficient, and independent working style with an entrepreneurial and networked overall view
- Appreciative and respectful interaction with stakeholders
