For our Autism Specialist Center in Aarau, we are looking for you as of December 1, 2025, or by arrangement
Responsibilities
- You take over the personnel and professional management of the Autism Specialist Center (in co-leadership with the senior psychologist and the head of special education).
- You lead the clinical staff in clarifying patients suspected of autism spectrum disorders (ASD), advising their parents and caregivers, and treating them if necessary.
- You conduct common psychological test procedures and carry out psychopharmacological adjustments, consultations, and treatments.
- You make diagnoses and assessments according to the valid diagnostic scheme and develop an action plan based on this.
- You participate in the background emergency service of the Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy.
- You ensure mutual representation of your colleagues at your management level during absences.
- You collaborate with the management of the Center for Outpatient Triage, Crisis Interventions, and Special Consultations as well as other departments of the CAP and external partners.
Profile
- You have a specialist title in child and adolescent psychiatry and psychotherapy FMH, are close to completing it, or have an equivalent MEBEKO-recognized qualification.
- Ideally, you have leadership experience and leadership training or are willing to complete such training.
- You promote interdisciplinary, guideline-oriented work and are motivated for the most efficient clarification and treatment of children and adolescents involving their families.
- You are characterized by initiative, high social competence, and situation-appropriate communication as well as flexibility and resilience.
- You are a humorous personality, both in everyday life and in dynamic situations, and thus complement our team ideally.
