Business Analyst Scholarships, limited until 31.12.2028 60 - 80%
Good for life – that is our motto. As part of the Education Directorate, the Office for Youth and Career Counseling (AJB) is responsible for child and youth welfare as well as career counseling. At the center of our work are children, adolescents, and families. In the Scholarships Department, individuals in training who cannot fully finance their costs themselves can submit an application for training contributions.
Do you enjoy and are interested in taking responsibility as a Business Analyst from December 1, 2025, or by agreement, at the interface between professional requirements and technical implementation for the further development of the scholarship specialist application? Then become part of our team. We process around 10,000 applications annually. Our specialist application supports our work with digitized workflows and electronic files.
In this role, you report directly to the department management and take responsibility for the further development of the specialist application and the online portal for cantonal training contributions, ensuring optimal operation. As a user representative, you sharpen the roles of all special functions around our application, clarify tasks and responsibilities, and ensure business analysis as well as the specification and testing of requirements. In doing so, you analyze existing processes, identify optimization potentials, initiate projects, and take responsibility for solution finding in close collaboration with users as well as external development companies and partners until successful implementation.
You bring with you
- Bachelor and MAS degree in the field of Business Analysis (e.g., (Business) Informatics, Business Administration, or a related field)
- Experience and skills in user representation, business analysis, project management, as a Product Owner, or in a comparable position
- Fluent German in spoken and written form
- Precise, independent, and structured way of working
- Flexibility and openness to innovations
- Team spirit as well as a lot of humor and confidence even in demanding situations
We offer you
- an exciting specialist role with responsibility
- meaningful work for families, children, and youth
- cantonal employment conditions and social benefits
- office space in the city of Zurich and the possibility of mobile work
- and much more…
Do not hesitate and apply with us, because "Good for life" also applies to our employees. We look forward to receiving your complete online application. Applications via e-mail will not be considered.
For questions, Christina Hess, Deputy Head of the Scholarships Department, is available from October 20, 2025, at Tel. 043 259 96 31. Until then, you can contact Anna Lena Keller, Staff Unit Central Area Child and Youth Welfare & Financial Assistance, phone number 043 259 97 03, for questions.
