Our Mission
The political municipality of Fällanden operates the Sunnetal retirement center. The Sunnetal retirement center offers a home to 32 residents where they experience appreciation, security, and social interaction. Our gastronomic offerings are also tailored to the needs and wishes of the residents. The public Sunnetal bistro with garden is a popular, intergenerational meeting place visited by a diverse clientele – whether for a "coffee meeting" or lunch. The Sunnetal bistro is also booked for club and family events, and our catering team offers catering services.

- Personnel, professional, organizational, and financial leadership and continuous development of the gastronomy team (kitchen and service)
- Responsibility for attractive menu and offer planning for our residents, the public bistro, as well as internal and external events
- Production and plating of dishes as well as implementation and compliance with food safety regulations
- Purchasing and costing while adhering to the budget
- Presence and participation in production and service
- Maintaining customer contact and responding to questions and needs
- Ensuring a service- and customer-oriented attitude as well as efficient workflows throughout the catering area
- Participation in the management team and interdisciplinary collaboration within the operation
You have completed training as a cook EFZ and have several years of professional and leadership experience in gastronomy. You have supplemented your practical experience with leadership and management training and continuously advanced your professional skills. You love developing the offerings and cooking techniques further. Social skills in dealing with elderly people are a must; experience in a similar operation is an advantage. You enjoy leading a team, promoting employees, motivating your crew to top performance, and implementing new ideas. With your business management know-how, you also keep our bistro financially on track. Cross-departmental collaboration and flexibility are natural to you. You are communicative, resilient, and solution-oriented. Additionally, you have a quick grasp and pronounced organizational skills. As a cook, you are characterized by your passion for creative, seasonal cuisine with high-quality basic products.
