About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated Supply Chain Specialist. In this role, you will ensure seamless coordination between Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs), internal stakeholders, and customers. You will play a key role in securing on-time production, purchase order fulfillment, and efficient supply chain communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee production with CMOs to meet customer demands.
- Support on-time delivery of purchase orders and maintain close collaboration with Market Supply Planning, Customer Service, and Virtual Plant Teams.
- Act as the main contact for both internal and external stakeholders regarding product inquiries, shipments, and scheduling.
- Ensure timely placement of purchase orders in line with contractual requirements and project timelines.
- Track open orders, resolve exceptions, and escalate issues when necessary.
- Coordinate supply chain activities, including reworks, regulatory updates, demand synchronization, and artwork change implementations.
- Provide forecasts, support shortage management, and proactively communicate potential supply disruptions.
- Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing Technology, Procurement, and Supplier Relationship Managers to resolve supply risks.
Qualifications & Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- APICS certification (CPIM and/or CSCP) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical or consumer products industry, within supply chain or manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of Master Scheduling, Forecasting, Customer Service, Logistics, Distribution, and Inventory Management, ideally with ERP system experience.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
