Senior Digital Marketing Manager (60-80%)
The Fundraising and Marketing department is responsible for the development and implementation of successful and contemporary fundraising. The Digital Marketing team focuses on both the strategic and operational design of digital marketing and fundraising channels, thereby contributing to the solid financing of projects. To strengthen our three-person digital marketing team, we are now looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Manager.
Your tasks
- You are jointly responsible for planning, implementing, and strategically further developing Caritas Switzerland's digital marketing and fundraising activities with a focus on cross-media campaigns.
- In the cross-media campaign team, you take professional responsibility for digital marketing and digital fundraising. You coordinate all digital measures and journeys of individual campaigns in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external agencies. In this role, you are also responsible for adhering to campaign and advertising budgets, including performance and revenue responsibility as well as controlling.
- You design, manage, and optimize performance marketing measures (e.g., SEA, Paid Social, Programmatic Advertising), identify new channels, and unlock new growth and fundraising potentials.
- You support cross-media storytelling with a focus on digital touchpoints and ensure a consistent user and donor experience.
- You contribute to marketing automation concepts and donor journeys to address donors effectively and purposefully throughout the entire donor lifecycle.
- You analyze campaign and performance data, continuously conduct tests and optimizations, and derive concrete measures for future campaigns from the insights (including with Google Analytics 4 and other tools).
- You are jointly responsible for digital marketing and fundraising measures during disaster collections.
Our requirements
- You have at least 4 years of experience in practical and strategic digital marketing and hold a (technical) university degree or equivalent qualification in business administration or marketing.
- Ideally, you have further training (Level CAS) in digital marketing and have gained initial experience in online fundraising.
- You have already taken on budget and revenue responsibility in digital marketing.
- You have experience in the conception, implementation, and analysis of cross-media campaigns and journeys. A solid knowledge of storytelling supports you in this.
- You have knowledge of CRM systems and marketing automation.
- You maintain precise German language skills in writing and speaking and have good English and French skills.
- Your professional and authentic appearance is characterized by strong negotiation skills and convincing argumentative strength.
- Conceptual and strategic thinking as well as organizational skills are among your strengths. You keep an overview even in hectic times.
- You enjoy working independently as well as in a team. In addition, you have a precise and goal-oriented working style.
- You have an interest in development and social policy issues and identify with Caritas Switzerland as well as its values and goals.
The workplace is in Lucerne and part of the working time can be done from home office.
Start date: May 1, 2026, or by arrangement.
