Located in the Vevey region, between town and
countryside, the Juniper City welcomes adults with
disabilities due to intellectual impairment.
A multidisciplinary and multi-site structure, it offers the people it welcomes a particularly harmonious living and working environment as well as a set of skills
adapted to the needs and aspirations of each individual.
Integrated into the Eben-Hezer Foundation, Juniper City is
the custodian of the moral testament of its founder, Sister Julie Hofmann.
It thus considers the happiness of the people it welcomes as
the ultimate goal of its action.
The GINKGO Day Center
welcomes people with multiple disabilities as well as people with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities with associated disorders.
Mission
The mission of the Ginkgo Day Center is to contribute to the well-being and skill development of the person welcomed by offering varied activities, manual, creative, artistic, sensory, motor, and relaxation activities in a flexible and adapted reception structure to the needs of each beneficiary.
To complete the team, we are currently looking for two collaborators
a social educator (M/F) at an 80% activity rate from March 1, 2026
a social educator (M/F) at a 50% activity rate from February 1, 2026
Desired profile
- Hold a diploma as an ES or HES educator
- Have proven experience in the field of intellectual disability and multiple disabilities
- Capable of working autonomously, organizing and managing a small group of residents in an activity
- Creative, skilled in manual and artistic activities
- Versatile, proactive
- Comfortable communicating with the team and with living groups
- Flexible, easily adaptable to change
- Know how to be patient, empathetic, and caring
Work environment
You will benefit from regular hours between Monday and Friday.
