We are looking for a

Structural Steel Designer 80-100% (m / f / d) (in Stetten AG or Thun BE) starting immediately or by arrangement

You think in millimeters and forces – while keeping the big picture in mind. From your 3D models, precise steel structures emerge that support architecture and bring projects to life. With technical skill and constructive precision, you turn visions into real, stable buildings.

Your mission

• you develop precise 3D models in Tekla Structures and transform concepts into real steel structures
• together with the project team, you prepare approval, production, and assembly documents – precise, understandable, and suitable for the construction site
• you create IFC models as well as parts and order lists and ensure that every component is thoughtfully and correctly defined
• you actively support the project manager while keeping deadlines, interfaces, and details in view
• in close collaboration with the facade construction team, you ensure clean transitions and technically sound solutions
• if necessary, you visit the construction site, take measurements equipped with the latest technology, and see how your constructions become reality step by step

Your superpowers

• you have training as a metal construction designer, ideally with a focus on steel construction
• Tekla (or comparable CAD systems) is your tool, precision your standard
• you are proficient in MS Office and navigate digital processes confidently
• you think ahead, work in a structured way, and find solutions – even for complex requirements
• you speak the language of technology and your team: clear, reliable, and on equal footing
• norms, standards, and quality are not just a must for you, but a matter of course
