Become a vital contributor to the Part-145 Quality System at SWISS TechOps. As a member of our team of seasoned Quality Engineers, you will be instrumental in guiding Swiss International Air Lines' maintenance organization through regulatory, procedural, and organizational transformations.

In this role, you will oversee the Part-145 quality system, including its handbook and personnel authorizations. You'll review new aviation laws, enhance aircraft maintenance quality and safety, and ensure international compliance. Participation in various projects may also be required.
- Coordinate applications for obtaining and renewing foreign aviation authority approvals
- Edit and revise the SWISS Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) and other relevant manuals
- Prepare and manage MOE supplements per national aviation authority requirements
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess impacts on SWISS TechOps
- Support internal audits and inspections related to foreign approvals
- Execute technical authorization, verifying qualifications, experience, and training of maintenance personnel
- Process applications for Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance Licenses, ensuring complete and accurate documentation
- Plan, control, and update audit plans for SWISS TechOps Part-145 and Part-147 organizations

To be a successful candidate, there is no formal requirement; however, a solid understanding of aviation and technical subjects is crucial. Candidates must possess the capability to navigate complex regulatory, technical, and organizational issues effectively.
- Possess a solid technical background, such as a degree from a technical university, an EASA Part-66 AML certification, or extensive work experience in a technical aviation environment
- Demonstrated affinity for working with aviation regulations
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Outstanding communication skills
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Structured and methodical approach to work, self-reliant, dependable, with an impeccable attention to detail
- Effective team player with strong interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient in both spoken and written English; proficiency in German is advantageous
