As a Data Engineer at Ferring, you will play a pivotal role in transforming data into actionable insights that support our internal clients across various departments. Your mission is to understand business needs, capture and structure the necessary data, and deliver information that drives decision-making and operational excellence. You will be responsible for establishing robust data governance, developing guidelines and templates, and ensuring the consistency and alignment of dashboards with both site and global KPIs. You will play a key role in identifying and implementing advanced analytics solutions, including the integration of artificial intelligence (AI), to unlock deeper insights and drive smarter decision-making. Your day at Ferring

• Engage with internal stakeholders from different departments to understand their business needs and translate them into data requirements

• Capture, clean, and structure data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and relevance

• Transform raw data into meaningful information and insights that support business decisions

• Develop, implement, and maintain data governance frameworks, guidelines, and templates for dashboard creation

• Ensure dashboards are consistent, standardized, and aligned with site and global KPIs

• Collaborate with business users, IT teams, and functional consultants to resolve data issues and implement solutions

• Monitor and report on progress, risks, and opportunities related to data management and projects

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization and automation of tasks

• Document data processes, update SOPs, and ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory standards

• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders at all levels

• You are an engineer with a minimum of three years of significant experience in a similar data-driven role.

• You have a strong command of Power Platform, low-code solutions, and database management, enabling you to design and implement robust analytics and automation tools.

• Your curiosity and creativity drive you to explore new technologies and approaches, especially in the field of data and AI.

• You are attentive to the needs of internal clients, able to listen actively and translate business requirements into effective data solutions.

• Organized and structured in your work, you manage multiple priorities efficiently and deliver high-quality results.

• Your communication skills allow you to explain complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• You are fluent in French and have a strong professional level of English, enabling you to collaborate in an international environment.
