About the job
Your tasksOverall responsibility for the organization, quality assurance, and further development of the housekeeping department with a team of around 50 international employees
Ensuring the highest cleanliness and maintenance standards in all guest rooms, public areas, staff areas, and outdoor facilities according to The Chedi Andermatt standards as well as the Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) guidelines
Strategic personnel planning including recruitment, deployment and vacation planning, coaching, as well as annual employee evaluations to promote individual and team-related goals
Budget responsibility for the housekeeping department, including cost control, inventory, and stock management
Development, implementation, and monitoring of processes, training programs, and "Deep Cleaning" plans for continuous optimization of service quality
Close cooperation with other departments and management to ensure a smooth and excellent guest journey – from check-in to departure
Active role model regarding the philosophy, values, and service culture of The Chedi Andermatt as well as continuous improvement of guest satisfaction
Your profile
Completed training in the hotel industry and/or graduation from a hotel management school
Several years of leadership experience in the housekeeping department of a luxury hotel (at least two years in the same position or three to four years as Assistant Executive Housekeeper)
Confident and poised personality with excellent manners
Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written; additional languages are an advantage
Strong leadership, organizational, and planning skills as well as solid product and material knowledge
High attention to detail, cost and quality awareness combined with a proactive "can-do" mentality
Guest-oriented, team-capable, and motivating working style with a passion for excellent service culture
