Responsibilities
In provisioning, you are responsible for the smooth scheduling of the DB Fernverkehr AG's trainsets. From this position, you have the opportunity to further qualify internally, e.g., as a specialist consultant.
We are looking for you as a Dispatcher:in Provisioning Management (m/f/d) for the ICE workshop at the Basel Bad Bf location at DB Fernverkehr AG with affiliated external locations in the BSL Basel area (e.g., Karlsruhe) as soon as possible.
Your tasks:
You ensure the scheduled, punctual, and quality-compliant provisioning of long-distance trains while observing legal and economic framework conditions.
To ensure high customer satisfaction, you are responsible for monitoring and coordinating train provisioning.
By recognizing irregularities, documenting them, and initiating appropriate measures to resolve them, you ensure quality- and process-compliant disruption management.
Collaboration and close coordination with maintenance, fleet management, and other internal and external interfaces determine your workday.
You respond individually to different people and find confident, goal-oriented, and quick solutions, both in conflict situations and in regular business.
Skills
Your profile:
You have successfully completed a technical/university degree as a business economist with a focus on logistics or railway operations, alternatively a successfully completed vocational training, e.g., as an industrial clerk or freight forwarding clerk.
Ideally, you have several years of professional experience in vehicle scheduling or already work in railway operations, e.g., as a shift supervisor, train provider, or locomotive driver.
A high level of communication skills as well as a confident, assertive demeanor characterize you, and you act focused and responsibly even under time pressure.
You are always result-oriented and like to develop yourself further, e.g., by participating in training courses.
Digital communication tools such as tablets are familiar to you, and you have skills in using MS Office 365.
Willingness to work shifts, including night, weekend, and holiday work, is a matter of course for you.
