Do you want to actively shape Switzerland's supply security? With us, you get the unique opportunity to experience the real-time operation of the transmission grid up close. In our network control center in Aarau, you work directly at the heart of the Swiss electricity system and contribute to ensuring that energy supply works around the clock. As an intern, you will work on the following tasks:

• Network restoration: Support our specialists in further developing concepts, participate in tests, and assist with evaluation and training.
• Process documentation & training: Create documentation and training materials and gain deep insights into the processes of real-time network operation.
• Process optimization: Support the optimization of team processes so that our specialists can focus on the essentials.
• Event analysis: Handle special disturbances in system operation, prepare reports, and develop improvement measures.
• Implement new processes: Help operationalize innovative procedures.
• Special tasks: Support the team management in exciting projects.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, energy technology, or a comparable field
• Interest in the operation of the Swiss transmission grid and the energy transition
• Knowledge of energy systems and energy transmission is an advantage
• Good MS Office skills
• Very good German and good English skills

We are an open-minded team of 10 employees, all working in 24/7 shift service at the control centers in Aarau and Prilly. We bear responsibility for the real-time operation of the Swiss transmission grid and work with our partners in Switzerland and colleagues in Europe for a secure electricity supply in Switzerland.
