The Kantonsschule Büelrain Winterthur (www.kbw.ch) is a short gymnasium with the profiles "Economics and Law" and "Philosophy, Pedagogy and Psychology." Around 850 students attend the gymnasium, the commercial and the computer science middle school.
At the beginning of the 2026/27 school year, we are looking for a teacher for the subject of music.
Your tasks
You will teach around 15 - 20 weekly lessons of music but are flexible for a (temporarily) higher workload if needed. As a teacher with special tasks (mbA), you will take on other important functions for the department or the school as a whole, such as project work or class leadership. You will be involved in the department and support the many and diverse musical activities (e.g., band workshop or choir) at our school.
Your profile
You have completed your university studies including higher teaching qualification (Master's diploma in school music II or comparable training) or are about to graduate and already teach at the middle school level. You are an open, team-oriented, and motivated personality and enjoy working with young people.
